I have a rainsuit and I need suggestions on getting a specific stain out?
I own a rainsuit which is 100% nylon with pvc waterproof coating on it. See rainsuit here: http://www.amazon.com/Columbia-Sportswear-Rainsuit-Black-Small/dp/B00062NR52/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-8720727-9865738?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1191962153&sr=8-1
The suit must have gotten set on some newspaper or something with print on it and it totally transferred onto the front of it, any ideas for removing it? I tried hot soap and water and the care instructions say only hand washing.
Try some white vinegar on a soft cloth. Good luck!=)

I would try some shout advanced and leave it set for a few days and then I would wash it in the washer on the gentle cycle. There are alot of things out there that say dry clean only or hand wash only but I put them all in the washer and they turn out just fine. Just dont put them in the dryer.

There is a dry cleaning pad available which might work. Newsprint is an oil based ink and needs to be removed with a dry cleaning kind of solvent.
I have a ‘Cadie’ brand dry cleaning pad. It works like an eraser on clothing.
Link to it is below:
